Thank you Dede for hosting our quarterly Tea.  Your table setting made me feel very special . Thank you for putting up such an elegant table.  How touching it is to me when the host does her personal special touches, just like Christie does. Personal touches here and there like on the  flower arrangement, table cloth, table setting. I’d be delighted to be in a rustic Tea cabin setting just as much as a Victorian Tea in a conservatory. It’s just that fuzzy feeling you get from a setting that makes you feel welcomed and loved.

I loved all the dainty  food!  Dainty finger foods make me feel dainty myself. The Lebanese finger food got me all excited since I love trying new foods as you might know by now. I confess I ate 3 kibbehs and wanted more!

Wished Hiroko came.  I don’t think I could be too tired or too busy to go to Tea. If I were all banged up lets say from crashing my bike, I’d still scrape myself off the pavement to go to Tea.  Of course, Teaing, it’s a quirk of mine. A Tea always fills my cup and refreshes my sagging spirit. There’s no such thing as too much Tea for me.

I didn’t want to be late since I am usually prompt, but  getting dinner on the table & making scones at the same time made me run late. Then you have to remember uhm things like preheating the oven and actually uhm turning it on, duh. You didn’t have to wait for me you know. Sorry to have kept you guys waiting.  I tried hard to be on time but it was just one of those days.  Hope the pictures I took made up for it?

I love Afternoon Tea can you tell?   It is really a beautiful way of celebrating friendships and having fellowship.  I couldn’t think of a better way to honor each other with each others company. I treasure you ladies!
